JOSEPH BANKS CASSAVA CHIPS
NEW ZEALAND BRANDS

Joseph Banks Cassava Chips were named for Joseph Banks, who originally 'discovered' the cassava root as a botanist on James Cook's explorations of the South Pacific.
Despite providing the third largest source of carbohydrates for human consumption worldwide, New Zealanders have had very little experience of cassava, except as tapioca.
Yet Joseph Banks Cassava Chips make a healthy alternative snack to standard potato chips (Joseph Banks Cassava Chips contain 25% less fat and 40% less salt than a standard potato chip).
The natural fibre and crisp texture of the cassava root allows them to be peeled and cross cut, and then lightly cooked with natural herbs and spices to produce a great-tasting snack.
Joseph Banks Cassava Chips are also gluten-free, making them an ideal snack for children or adults who are sensitive to gluten.
